le="text-align: justify;">Schola Cantorum Jubilate animated the funeral mass of Francesca Sciberras, relative of bass Geoffrey Bajada. The presente-cadavere mass started at 5pm at the Basilica of Xagħra and was officiated by Mgr. Carmelo Refalo, Archpriest. The choir performed the ‘Missa pro defunctis' and the hymns: ‘Jesu Rex Admirabilis' (Palestrina), ‘Allelulia' (Gregorian Chant), ‘O Bone Jesu' (Palestrina) and ‘Mulej Ġejna qrib Artalek' (Elgar). Marouska Attard, the director and soprano interepreted the ‘Pie Jesu' from the ‘Requiem' (Faure') during the offerings. Mro. Colin Attard accompanied the choir on the church organ.
