The 11am mass at the Basilica of Marija Bambina in Xaghra, was officiated by H. E. Bishop Emeritus Nicholas G. Cauchi in occasion of the 40 th Anniversary of Priesthood of four priests from Xaghra – Rev. Fr. Saviour Sultana, Rev. Fr. Carmel Hili, Can. Joseph Sultana and Can. Anthony Refalo. The Choir, performed the ‘Missa Cantate Domino' (Oltrasi) and the hymns: ‘Jesu Rex Admirabilis' (Palestrina), the Paschal ‘Allelulia' (arr. Frisina), ‘L-Ikel tal-Hajja' (Holst), ‘Kristu qam mill-imwiet' (Portelli), ‘Veni Creator' (Buti) and finally, to mark the end of the Paschal period, the ‘Regina Coeli' (Bartolucci). Mro. Stephen Attard accompanied the choir on the church organ.
