Schola Cantorum Jubilate animated the wedding mass of one of its members: Geoffrey Bajada (Bass) and Dorianne Magrin. The mass started at 5pm at the Basilica of Maria Bambina, Xaghra and was officiated by Rev. Fr. Joseph Bajada. The bride was welcomed in church by Marouska Attard interpreting the ‘Ave Maria' by Giulio Caccini. A special arrangement for the violin was composed by Paul Portelli played skilfully by Jean Noel Attard. The choir performed: the ‘Missa Cantate Domino' (Oltrasi). Marouska sung the first verse of the Gregorian chant of the ‘Veni Creator' as the Reverend Priest was saying prayers for the new couple. Later at the end of the wedding rite, the choir joyfully sung Gabrieli's ‘Allelulia'. The other pieces interpreted were: ‘Allelulia' and the acclamation (arr. Frisina). ‘Ave Verum Corpus' (Mozart), ‘Panis Angelicus' (Franck) with Marouska Attard interpreting the solo part and ‘Kull tifhir' (Taize'). At the end of the mass the choir sung Portelli's ‘Jubilate Deo'. All pieces were accompanied by members of the Jubilate Chamber Orchestra. While the couple was signing the registry and later taking photos, the trumpeter Jason Borg and the organist Stephen Attard performed Purcell's ‘Trumpet Voluntary', Clarke's ‘Prince of Denmark' and finally Mendelssohn's ‘Wedding March'.

The Administration together with all the choristers gives their congratulations to the newly wed couple.
