It got into tradition that Schola Cantorum Jubilate accompanies the procession of Baby Jesus organized by the Members of the Society of Museum. This procession started thanks to St. George Preca, the founder of the same Society. He was very fond of Christmas in fact their motto remains: ‘Verbum Dei Caro Factum Est' (God's son was made man). During this procession, members of Schola Cantorum Jubilate sang various Maltese ghanjiet amongst which ‘Ninni la tibkix izjed', ‘Fuq tiben f'maxtura', ‘Hallejt O Alla s-sema', ‘Noel, Noel', ‘O Lejl tas-Skiet', ‘Ninni ninni' and ‘O Gesu' Helwa tarbija'. At the end of the service, the choir sang the profane ghanja ‘Ninu Ninu tal-Milied' at the Xaghra Square , next to the crib. The choir was accompanied by Raymond Bonello and Joseph Lazarus Refalo who played the mandolin and harmonium.
