During this Sunday’s mass, Schola Cantorum Jubilate together with their parents, relatives and friends, thanked God for sixteen years since the choir’s inception.
Mass was officiated by Fr. Massimo Buttigieg from the Gozo Cathedral who has been recently ordained. Mgr. Arc. Carmelo Refalo concelebrated. The readings were read by the Therese Attard and Joseph Bajada. Marvic Cini performed the psalm and Vivianne Attard read the prayers of the faithful.
The repertoire for this occasion included various pieces by Mozart, Bach and Caruana. Marouska Attard conducted the choir while Joseph Camilleri accompanied on the church organ.
Right after the mass, the choristers and their relatives shared some mouth watering cakes freshly prepared by Sylvia Caruana.
Undoubtedly this was another year filled with new musical experieces which each chorister will cherish while looking forward for more years together.
