Before the 11am mass, SCJ spent about 30 minutes of carols singing. Many got accustomed to this tradition and were present in church to listen to the choir.
The Mass was officiated by Mgr. Carmelo Refalo, the Archpriest of the Basilica. The choir, under the direction of Marouska Attard was accompanied by Ronald Camilleri on the organ. The pieces interpreted were Oltrasi’s ‘Cantate Domino’ Mass, ‘O Come all ye faithful’, ‘Ninni la tibkix iżjed’, ‘Joy to the World’. During the offerings, Marouska Attard interpreted ‘O Holy Night’ (Adam). Cantor Stefan Attard sang the psalm.
