le="text-align: justify;">Schola Cantorum Jubilate animated the presente cadavere mass of Theresa Xerri, grandmother of chorister Jodie Agius. Mass was held at the Basilica of Maria Bambina, Xagħra at 4.30pm. The choir performed the ‘Missa Pro Defunctis’ and the hymns: ‘O Bone Jesu’ (Palestrina), ‘O Ras ta’ Kristu Imbierka’ (Bach). Marouska Attard, director and soprano of the choir interpreted ‘Pie Jesu’ (Faure’) as introit. Finally the choir sang ‘Lehnek mis-sema’ as recessional.

Theresa Xerri
