Marisa Bajada and Matthew Cauchi

le="text-align: justify;">Marisa Bajada and Matthew Cauchi invited Schola Cantorum Jubilate to animate their Nuptial Mass at the Basilica of Maria Bambina, Xaghra. Mass started at 11am and was officiated by Rev. Archpriest Frank Bajada. The bride was welcomed in church by Marouska Attard interpreting Gounod's 'Ave Maria'. The other pieces interpreted were: 'Allelulia' (Taize'), 'Ave Verum Corpus' (Mozart), 'Sanctus' (Oltrasi), 'Il-Mulej qam mill-imwiet' 0(Portelli), 'Missierna' (plain Chant), 'Agnus Dei' (Oltrasi), 'Panis Angelicus' (Franck) and 'Bless the Lord' (Taize'). For recessional, instrumental pieces were performed: Purcell's 'Trumpet Voluntary' and Clarke's 'Prince of Denmark'. Finally members of the Jubilate Chamber Orchestra who accompanied the choir during the other pieces interpreted 'Mendelssohn's 'Wedding March'. The musicians who participated were: Joseph Camilleri (organ), Jean Noel Attard (violin), Noemi Attard (flute) and Jason Camilleri (trumpet).
